An Invitation to Grow: Education for Ministry
Education for Ministry (EfM) offers a unique opportunity to deepen your faith, connect Christian tradition with daily life, and grow in your ability to live out your baptismal calling. Through mentor-guided study, theological reflection, and small-group discussion, participants gain a richer understanding of Scripture, theology, and the Church's tradition while discerning how God is at work in their lives. Participation is open to everyone, regardless of church affiliation, and there are no educational prerequisites.
Developed by the School of Theology at the University of the South (Sewanee), EfM is a four-year program centered on theological reflection, small-group discussion, and spiritual formation. Participants meet weekly in groups, either in person or online, for 34 weeks each year. Most groups meet between September and May, though schedules may vary.

Duties include accompanying Sunday services and choir rehearsal (Thursdays 5:30–6:45pm), playing preludes/postludes, and assisting with special liturgies (Christmas, Holy Week, etc.). Save the date: Celebrating 50 years of full and equal claim for LGBTQ+ people
Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 3-5; Minneapolis, Minnesota
As Pride month begins, save the date for a gathering commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1976 General Convention resolution declaring that LGBTQ+ people have a full and equal claim to the pastoral care and support of The Episcopal Church. The event, “Full and Equal: 50 Years in Pursuit of a Promise,” will celebrate progress and acknowledge the work that remains.
The three-day gathering will include storytelling coaching, workshops, a banquet, and a Eucharist featuring Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe as presider and Bishop Gene Robinson as preacher. Spanish-language interpretation will be available.
