Careers in Construction

To celebrate Careers In Construction Month in October, ABC Texas Gulf Coast met with local high schools to see the first steps in the workforce development process that contributes to the gap of 650,000 vacant positions in the Construction Industry.

ABC Construction Exhibition

Nearly 400 high school students, 20 member companies, and 100 volunteers attended Construction Exhibition to expose the future workforce to the many different skills and trades used in the local industry.

Special thanks to the ABC Construction Exhibition committee, volunteers, and sponsors. We could not do this alone, thank you all!!

The Industry students from Brazosport had a tour of our one-stop facility to prepare them for their future in the local industry. They learned where Concentra, ProActive Workforce, Safety Council, and NCCER testing offices are located in our facilities.

To prepare them even further, they had a presentation to learn the importance of BCPC Signing Day and the successful stories of past signing day students.
