Beach Access Improvements

This is the time of year where Okaloosa County can begin yearly improvements to beach accesses and widely used public parks.



Beach Access #1 on Okaloosa Island will be closed to make necessary improvements. Work will take 8-10 weeks, weather dependent.

Water & Sewer Improvements

Okaloosa County’s Water & Sewer Department is continually improving and maintain infrastructure. Crews are working to replace aging drinking water lines on Okaloosa Island. You may see them working on the side streets off of Santa Rosa Boulevard. As you drive by, give them a honk and a wave hello.
