Basic Code Enforcement Training
Through a partnership with Triangle J COG and N Focus Planning, Mid-Carolina COG is pleased to offer Basic Code Enforcement Training to our local government staff. The course will cover public nuisances including chronic violators; abandoned, junked & nuisance vehicles; minimum housing code; non-residential building & structures code; and civil penalty processes.

Attendees will receive basic information to help understand the source of authority for the enforcement of the various ordinances and discuss the steps of an investigation & enforcement from the initial complaint to owner compliance or abatement by the jurisdiction. N-Focus will also provide examples of various forms & letters that can be used for each type of enforcement.
