Ms. Nicole Small, Principal

Week of September 23, 2024

Our students are adjusting nicely to the school year and expectations. Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us!

Hero Tree

On 9/11, Coebourn Elementary observed a Remembrance Day. Each classroom participated in a special read-aloud of a book told from the perspective of a tree that survived the 9/11 attacks. The story honors the resilience of America, the healing strength of community, and the bravery of first responders. Following the read-aloud, students engaged in a discussion about heroes. To conclude, each student decorated a leaf and wrote the name of one of their personal heroes on it. Each student's leaf was placed on our Hero Tree.
