Ms. Nicole Small, Principal

Week of September 30, 2024

Wow, it's hard to believe we're already wrapping up the first month of school! Our students have done an amazing job following behavioral expectations and building their academic stamina. We're energized and ready for another exciting month of learning!

Dot Day

On September 16th, we celebrated International Dot Day with Coebourn students by reading The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. This special day encourages people all around the world to connect, collaborate, and unleash their creativity.

Peter H. Reynolds, the author of The Dot, shares that the only real guideline for Dot Day is to read the story and then express yourself in a way that inspires you. After listening to the read-aloud, our students did just that! They engaged in a variety of creative activities, from painting and decorating a piece of a giant dot to incorporating STEM concepts by designing and building towers with index cards and dot stickers.

Take a look below to see some of their amazing creations!
