I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who joined me at last month's Coffee with a Councilwoman event at Ultra Coffeebar. Your support and willingness to engage in open dialogue truly reinforced the strength of our community. It was inspiring to see so many neighbors come together to share ideas, concerns, and hopes for our city. You can read more about the event and the meaningful conversations we had here.

I'm excited to continue fostering these opportunities for constructive engagement. Please join me again on June 3, from 11 AM – 2 PM, at the Wrongway Campground Riverlodge for another Coffee With a Councilwoman event. Additionally, I’ll be teaming up with Representative Brian Turner and Buncombe County Commissioner Drew Ball for a Town Hall at the West Asheville Library on June 5, from 6 PM – 8 PM. These gatherings are designed to ensure your voice is heard and to discuss the issues that matter most to you.

As we enter this season of budget considerations and discussions, I want to emphasize that these conversations are important, but they are simply one part of an ongoing dialogue. My commitment is to listen to your concerns – budgetary or not - because a better Asheville is built together. Your input is invaluable in shaping the future of our city, and I look forward to talking with you at these upcoming events and beyond.
