The Lurie Center for Autism invites you to a presentation and conversation with Liz Martineau, Founder and CEO of Nashoba Learning Group, and Judith Ursitti, Co-Founder of the Profound Autism Alliance. Topics covered will include a discussion of the term “profound autism,” the unique needs and challenges of those living with profound autism, and the importance of research, education and advocacy for those affected. Both Liz and Judith are extensively involved in education and advocacy efforts to promote the unique and important needs of individuals with profound autism, including establishment of the inaugural Profound Autism Summit conference in 2024. Dr. Lisa Nowinski, Clinical Director of the Lurie Center for Autism, will facilitate the conversation.
