TOMORROW:

All-Way Stop Coming to Stockley Road & Cool Spring Road Intersection

DelDOT officials are advising motorists about the upcoming installation of an all-way stop at the intersection of Stockley Road and Cool Spring Road.

The junction is currently a two-way stop.

The work will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13th.

Flaggers will be onsite to direct motorists at the intersection during the work. Motorists are advised to use caution and reduce their speed in the work zone.

The new stop signs along Stockley Road will be equipped with temporary solar flashing beacons to help make the new stop signs more visible at night and to alert drivers unfamiliar with the change.

State Police Accepting Applications

for Spring Academy Class

The Delaware State Police is currently seeking applications from individuals interested in becoming a Delaware State Trooper.  The deadline to apply for the Spring 2023 class is quickly approaching.

Applications must be submitted before midnight on Saturday, October 1.  Applicants will receive a physical fitness exam immediately followed by the written examination on Saturday, October 8.
