PARKING THIS WEEKEND The Geneva Arts Fair will be held Saturday and Sunday. For GLC, this means we will be unable to access the church parking lots via Third street. To park at the church, turn onto Second street from Route 38 or onto Franklin from Route 31.

How is your prayer life?

Sometimes it feels like our pleas go unheeded.

Sometimes we give up relatively quickly.

Prayer just doesn’t seem to be working out the way you want.

Sometimes it feels like we are just talking to ourselves, and You, God, are far away.

How is your relationship with God shaping your life?

Lord give us the strength to stay with You. Help us in our dry times and in our dark nights… to stay the course, to persevere, to keep the faith. We ask this in the confidence that Your grace is sufficient. Amen

We surround with our prayers the family of Nancy Rasmussen who died on July 13 in Florida. A Celebration of Life for both Warren and Nancy will be held at Geneva Lutheran this fall.

Women's Small Group

The last women's small group will meet tonight, July 21 @ 6:30 pm. You're welcome to come even if you haven't attended the previous sessions! Contact: Pastor Trudy

This Sunday

Stay after 9 am worship or come before the start of 10:30 am—we're meeting in the middle for coffee and treats! We'll be blessing Pastor Wende for her service and sending her on to her next assignment! It's not goodbye; we're sure we'll continue to see her around GLC!

Youth Mission Trip group leaves this Sunday, July 24 to serve the community of Martin, KY through Christian Appalachian Project. Going to work in the (usually brutal) July Kentucky heat and humidity are Vaughn Blad, Ryan Ruiz, Braden Fels, Jessica Swanson, Alex Sweeney, Jack Fels and Kaitlyn Fels along with Pastor Trudy and Kevin 'Swaney' Swanson. Please keep them in your prayers.

Birthday Party

John I. Anderson is turning 90! His daughter Karla would like to invite GLC to an Open House on Saturday, August 6, 11 am-2 pm at the Holmstad Town Center Gathering Space. Please bring only a card, your presence is the gift!
