EX TRUMP LAWYER GUILTY PLEA
President Trump's former attorney says he's guilty of lying to Congress. Michael Cohen appeared before a federal judge in New York this morning and admitted to fudging facts about his work on a plan to build a Trump Tower in Russia. Reports say he also pled guilty to lying about Trump's knowledge of that project. His plea is reportedly part of a deal with Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller -- and the latest move in Mueller's Russia investigation. President Trump today called Cohen "very weak" -- suggesting he's just angling for a reduced sentence in another case that's unrelated to Trump. Lots of reaction.

TAINTED ALCOHOL
A Wisconsin couple has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Mexican resort where they say their daughter was killed by "tainted alcohol" she drank while on vacation there. Twenty-year-old Abbey Conner reportedly ended up on life support after drinking a "poisonous" beverage and passing out in the hotel pool back in January 2017. Her family was with her at the time and are now suing the resort and its U.S. booking website. The family claims the resort knew  that some alcoholic beverages being served were "unfit for human consumption." Read on.

DON'T COME AROUND HERE NO MORE
We've heard of bans on fidget spinne rs, Pok émon cards and electronics, but get this: a Connecticut school district just banned parents from showing up to have lunch with their kids. The school district argues that the growing number of lunchtime visits is a security issue and has become disruptive. Some parents claim they stop by to help their kids -- by opening milk cartons, assisting with social conflicts, or just to sneak in a little one-on-one time.
We want to know what you think: should parents be allowed to join their child for lunch?  TAKE OUR SURVEY and we'll post the results in tomorrow's issue.
MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING
A destination wedding in India was a hard no for  Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who won't be there to see her good friend, Priyanka Chopra marry Nick Johas this weekend. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex' non-attendance is reportedly related to her pregnancy. As we reported earlier this week, the royal couple is planning a move out of Kensington Palace in advance of the baby's arrival next Spring.
ALEXA CALLS SHOTGUN
"Alexa, tell me how I can make those basketball and gymnastics drop-offs across town and get back to the swim parent meeting during rush hour." Okay, by the time she can figure that out for you, your oldest may already have a driver's license! But as it turns out, some crafty and tech-savvy Echo owners have been rigging their devices to work in their cars for awhile now. Amazon caught on, and is introducing Echo Auto early next year. Consider us psyched!
