Over the last week or so I seem to be finding more and more trash in the    

parking lot. Some of it happens when people open their car doors and   

things roll out. But this morning I found a small glass canning jar that had

been dropped in the parking lot and left there, broken glass and all. It

seemed to contain some kind of cabbage carrot mixture. So I swept it up

and disposed of it. I just can't understand how someone could do that and

just leave it there. Anyway, I'm hoping we all become more conscious of our

leavings and do a better job of picking up after ourselves.

   Oh my goodness! It must be my pineapple kimchi that I have looked all over

   last night. I'm so sorry that my forgetfulness have created such a mess and

   inconvenience for everyone. I must have located it on top of my car when I

   try to get in the care in dark and couldn't find it anywhere in the car and in

   the house....

   Thank you for solving my mystery and cleaning up the mess...

   Ps forgetful night also includes a few dollars that I dropped somewhere in

   the community. Hopefully, the dollars would be a pleasant surprise for any

   of you instead of the messy surprise.

Dear neighbors,

Thank you for all your sympathy and compassion. Your heartfelt words were so comforting after my accident. I even got a bottle of wine brought to my house!

So many of you offered me a ride and Yang & Ying allowed me to drive their second car. Hopefully I can find another car soon.

I am lucky to live here in this community.

Learn firsthand from the woman who brought cohousing to North America. Katie spent decades as a cohousing architect, developer and resident. Her pre-conference intensive is useful to both professionals and forming communities alike. The workshop will introduce participants to the roles and responsibilities of different players in the development process. Katie will also dive into development timelines, which consultants you and need when, financing and how community members can best support the development process. Build on the lessons learned from Katie’s 35 years of developing cohousing communities.
