Manufacturing Tour - Rumpke Waste & Recycling
The Colerain Chamber had a fantastic, eye-opening tour of the Rumpke Waste & Recycling facility! Since 1932, Rumpke has been dedicated to keeping neighborhoods clean & green. From state-of-the-art machinery to cutting-edge recycling techniques, Rumpke is leading the way in making a positive impact on our environment. Let's all take inspiration from their efforts and continue moving towards a greener, more sustainable future!
Important takeaways from the tour: NO plastic bags in your recycling (they damage the machines) and NO batteries. They have a fire on average once a week from batteries, even one in a singing birthday card!
Thank you for having us, Rumpke!

ABOUT THE VIRIDI WELLNESS PROGRAM
We all know how detrimental climate change is to the natural world, but did you know it has a huge impact on our mental and physical health? Through the Viridi Wellness Program, members can allocate renewable energy certificates to their employees to help reduce their carbon footprint and offset their electricity use at home.
HELPING EMPLOYEES GO GREEN
Viridi purchases Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) on your behalf and allocates them to your employees so they can "go green". A REC represents energy produced by a renewable resource like wind, solar, or hydro. When 1,000 kWh of power is generated by a renewable resource, 1 REC is created, and that REC represents and tracks the renewable energy once it enters the electricity grid. Coincidentally, the average household in the U.S. uses a little under 1,000 kWh of electricity per month. Therefore...
By purchasing 1 REC per month for each of your employees, you are effectively "greening up" some, if not all, of their home electricity use. We also plant one tree for each REC purchased!
• Enhance your brand
• Create a happier workforce
• Promote health and wellness
• Benefit the environment
To learn more, visit https://viridi.eco/SOCA , or contact Rick Davidson (330) 708-5518 or rick@viridi.eco and we will put you in touch with a SOCA benefits broker.
Chamber members can use this exciting new benefit to attract and retain employees.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)
Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!
