CHAMBER UPDATES | MAY 29, 2025 | | |
Dear Chamber Leaders,
Holy Cow! That phrase keeps popping into my head as I reflect on all we’ve accomplished and what’s ahead for the Colerain Chamber. It’s an expression of amazement—and I’m amazed.
Over the past five years, this Chamber has grown into something truly special. Whether you're a baseball fan shouting "Holy Cow!" in a Harry Caray voice or just someone who recognizes something exceptional when you see it—there's no doubt we've built something worth celebrating.
Here’s why:
-
Each year, we host at least three major signature events, including our upcoming Hometown Hero celebration on June 19th.
-
We offer a wide variety of monthly networking and social opportunities—from Reds games and BB Riverboat excursions, to our Third Thursday and Beers & Biz —that build lasting business and personal connections.
-
For the last two years, we’ve partnered with Cincy Magazine on a high-quality Colerain community publication, and many of our members have been honored through the Best of the West and our annual Awards Dinner.
-
The Northgate mural project, the longest in Cincinnati at 802 feet (Holy Cow!), is coming to life with overwhelming community support and incredible artistry.
-
We have an engaged and experienced Chamber Board that includes business owners, Township leadership, and our school district Superintendent—each dedicated to Colerain’s success.
-
With over 270 businesses and organizations choosing to be part of this Chamber, we’re proud to be recognized as Ohio’s #1 small Chamber by CCEO in 2021.
-
And thanks to our partnership with SOCA, our members save thousands of dollars through exclusive health care options, workers’ compensation discounts, and other valuable programs.
So yes—HOLY COW! There’s a lot to be proud of. And it’s all made possible by your support, involvement, and leadership.
Read on to see what’s next!
All the best!

She Thrives is the vision of Executive Director Marjean Wedig. While working with a nonprofit ministry supporting women, Marjean recognized a significant unmet need—many women were seeking a safe, supportive space to connect, heal, and grow. She saw firsthand how powerful it was when women came together to share their stories, encourage one another, and move through life’s challenges in community. As she put it, “Together Women Thrive.”
Motivated to meet this need, Marjean invited three passionate women to join her in the fall of 2024. Together, they laid the foundation for She Thrives, a nonprofit dedicated to creating transformative group experiences for women in the community.
Each She Thrives group is designed to provide emotional and healing support, promote mental and physical well-being, foster a sense of belonging through shared interests and networking, and inspire positive, lasting change in women’s lives.
By building strong, supportive communities one group at a time, She Thrives empowers women to not just survive—but to truly thrive.

Beer & Biz Networking
T
Beers & Biz is a monthly B2B Networking event that includes monthly topical roundtable discussions and open networking.
Roundtable Discussions are broken into primary areas of leadership roles and function and are designed to be topical discussions facilitated by a local leader in each group. These groups are great opportunities for peer-to-peer engagement, sharing of industry best practices, and real-time learnings and struggles of currently relevant topics.
| While Beer & Biz is not hosted by the Colerain Chamber, Dave serves on the steering committee and we are glad to support this opportunity for our members to connect, network, and engage with business professionals from across the city in a fresh, dynamic setting. The location changes monthly, and we will update our monthly calendar. | | |

The Colerain Chamber Foundation mural is coming right along—rain or shine! Despite the unpredictable weather this month, our talented muralist Brian Beck and a dedicated group of volunteers have been hard at work bringing this vibrant piece to life. We encourage you to drive by or, better yet, take a stroll down the sidewalk to truly appreciate the intricate details unfolding each day. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has lent a hand in painting and supporting this community project. Be sure to follow us on social media for daily updates and progress photos!
Thank you to the individuals and businesses that have made an investment in this community project!

What a fantastic evening we had at this month’s 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭, hosted at the beloved Haubner Field, home of the White Oak Athletic Club!
With over 1,500 member families, White Oak Athletic Club has been a cornerstone of our community since 1949, when Joe Haubner and Joe Betsch stood on a hill and imagined the future of what is now White Oak Drive. Today, their vision lives on through vibrant baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and instructional programs for boys and girls.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for a great night of networking and to the WOAC board for being such a great host!
