CHAMBER UPDATES | SEPTEMBER , 2023 | |
Chamber Leaders-
Three months to go...three months. That's right, 90 days or so until 2024 arrives with the ball drop in New York City, champagne uncorked by the caseloads, and fireworks everywhere. The year 2024 won't represent our country's bicentennial, nor a turn of the century mark, however it will be the 10th anniversary of the Colerain Chamber of Commerce. YAY!!!
If your business is celebrating its 10th anniversary or you have key employees that are celebrating 10 years with your organization in 2024, we want to hear from you. We want to celebrate WITH YOU and share those stories via social media and in our newsletter. Additionally, if you have interest in being involved in our celebration committee, please contact me directly and we'll add you to the growing list of volunteers willing to help make 2024 a special year for our chamber.
We will be kicking off our 2024 celebration early this year with a special all chamber member breakfast on November 15, 2023. Yes, everyone is invited but you need to register through the link provided below so that we can plan food accordingly. It will be an opportunity to meet new board members, get a "state of the chamber" message from me and to hear from other local leaders like Jeff Weckbach (Colerain Township Administrator), Darrell Yater (NWLSD Superintendent), and Jon Graft (President/CEO of Butler Tech) among others. It will also allow you to meet many of the amazing benefits partners that provide health insurance, workers compensation insurance, 401K plans, energy savings and much more. This event, like so many others, will also allow you to collaborate with the best and brightest business leaders across the Colerain area.
Finally, as 2024 approaches, please be mindful that there are several opportunities to give back to the community.
- Colerain Give-back Day is next Saturday, October 7th,
- We are still in need of tutors at Taylor Elementary School (off Springdale Rd), 1.5 hours on Wednesdays.
- NWLSD is looking for business leaders to come into the schools to share more about their vocations and companies with middle & high school students. This can be during your lunch hour.
In my experience, those who give receive ten-fold in return! We hope to see you at one of our amazing events, especially the Live2Lead event on October 24th at Mercy West Hospital.
Have a great day!
