CHAMBER UPDATES | AUGUST 30, 2024 | |
Chamber of Commerce Members-
The last couple of weeks have been busy ones. We celebrated our Third Thursday event at chamber member and nonprofit, Waycross Community Media. We had an amazing turn out of our Leadership Summit, led by Chamber member and sustaining sponsor Dinsmore, on the hot topic of AI. The Women's Networking luncheon was a success at Willow Event Center. We also announced a change in Beth Jones's title as Membership, Event, and Engagement Coordinator. We are excited to announce the addition of seven new members to the Colerain Chamber of Commerce this month. You can learn more about each of those organizations just below this letter.
As we enter the final months of 2024, be sure to consider how you can make strategic changes that will impact your business in 2025. If you need help creating a budget, talk to your accountant, or I would be glad to help get you started. Tax season will be upon us soon, so be sure to have your paperwork in order as the year-end approaches. The Colerain Chamber of Commerce has many resources available for you to take advantage of.
We have begun promoting our second annual Live2Lead program through the John C. Maxwell organization. This event will be held at Mercy West Hospital on October 15th (see information below), and lunch will be hosted at New Hope Church directly across the street. While there is a time investment of four hours and $99 ($79 for three or more), we should invest in our business, staff, and ourselves. This kind of investment pays dividends for years to come. Please take the time to register for Live2 Lead, not only for yourself but also for your team leaders.
Four September events to highlight among all of the ones listed below:
-
September 4th - Team Up to Green Up is celebrating three years with a picnic; stop by Germania Society (Kemper Rd.) for lunch. Registration is required so that we can plan accordingly.
-
September 10th - Women's Networking Luncheon hosted by new chamber member and nonprofit Madi's House.
-
September 13th - The Fire/Police Appreciation Breakfast. It is only $10, and it is an opportunity to say THANK YOU to our community's first responders.
-
September 18th - Our largest Third Thursday networking event will again be held at Playground Equipment Services. There will be free food, drinks, and music!
At the bottom of the newsletter, you can learn more about all of our activities and resources and take a look back at last month's events.
All the best!

SALES SUMMIT
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 11TH
8:30 AM - 10:00 AM VIRTUAL
The Sales Summit brings together community leaders for the expressed purpose of creating a learning environment for all chamber members.
Dave Moravec, President of the Colerain Chamber, will be the guest leader for this month's Sales Summit. He will discuss the concept of Raving Fans as it relates to the HubSpot Flywheel. Moving from a sales funnel or pipeline to a flywheel actively engages clients, which generates an ongoing referral network of people you may never have otherwise touched. Dave has been teaching this concept for several years, and now is the time to bring your questions and curiosity to this engaging discussion. Dave will also share an update on his newly released inspirational novel, Echoes Across the Tracks, which is gaining momentum in the independent publishing community.
While this is open to all members of the Colerain Chamber of Commerce, guests of the chamber membership are also welcome to register. We will look forward to seeing you on this Zoom call scheduled for 8:30am - 10:00am on Wednesday,
September 11th.
