CHAMBER UPDATES | MARCH 2, 2026

A Message from the President: Celebrating Excellence and Springing Forward

Dear Members, Partners, and Friends of Colerain Township,

Can you feel it? There is a certain electricity in the air that only arrives this time of year. As we shake off the final chill of winter and head into March, it’s not just the literal "spring cleaning" on our minds, it’s the sense of renewal, growth, and the inevitable excitement of March Madness.

Reflecting on the past few days, I am still beaming with pride over our Annual Awards Banquet held on February 26th. It was a spectacular evening where we hit the "pause" button on our busy schedules to shine a bright light on the heartbeat of our community: our local businesses, dedicated students, and tireless non-profits.

The room was filled with the kind of energy that reminds you why we do what we do. I want to extend a massive congratulations to all of the nominees and award winners. Your commitment to excellence is what keeps Colerain thriving. We were thrilled to honor the heart you’ve invested in making our community a better place to live, work and play.

A special salute goes out to our newest Hall of Fame Inductee, Patty Marcus. Your legacy of service and leadership provides the blueprint for the next generation of entrepreneurs and community leaders. You’ve shown us that success isn't just about the bottom line, it’s about the lives you touch along the way.

People often search far and wide for opportunity, but the truth is, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow can be found right here in Colerain Township. We don’t need "luck" when we have a community this resilient, though I must say, how lucky are we to live, contribute, and invest in such a vibrant place.

This event was a powerful reminder of the positive narrative we are writing together. When we support our students, invest in our businesses and uplift our non-profits, we aren't just networking; we are fortifying our home.

As we move into this new season, I encourage you to use this time for a "spring cleaning" of your business strategies:

  • Start Fresh: Clear out the old processes that no longer serve you.
  • Innovate: Bring those "back-burner" ideas to the forefront.
  • Grow: Reach out to a neighbor or a fellow member to see how you can collaborate.

Let’s carry the momentum from our banquet into the rest of the year. Whether you are a long-standing member or a local business owner considering joining our ranks, there has never been a better time to get involved.

Keep dreaming big, Colerain. I’ll see you out in the community!

We’re excited to welcome the Izaak Walton League of America – Mt. Healthy Chapter to the Chamber! This nonprofit conservation organization is part of the larger Izaak Walton League of America. As one of the nation’s oldest and most respected community-based environmental groups, originally founded in 1922 to protect natural resources and outdoor heritage for future generations.

The Mt. Healthy Chapter, furthers this mission right here in the Cincinnati area by offering educational programs, wildlife and natural resource conservation efforts, hunting safety and stewardship classes, and community meetings focused on protecting and enjoying our local environment.

Through the passion and volunteerism of its members, the chapter works to foster a deeper appreciation for healthy soil, clean water, thriving wildlife habitats, and sustainable outdoor recreation, helping ensure that future generations can enjoy the natural beauty of our region.

Thank you to our Award Dinner Event Sponsors:

The Colerain Chamber After Hours Women’s Networking Event was truly something special. A room full of inspiring women gathered at Chamber member Just Love Coffee Café, whose warm hospitality created the perfect setting for connection and conversation. Guests were moved by powerful stories of Love in Action from our speakers - Mercedes Brown, owner of Mercedes Brown Boutique, who shared her heartfelt mission of donating wigs to women undergoing cancer treatment, and Jess and Payton Obert, who told the story behind Payton’s Lemonade Stand and the meaningful impact they continue to make in our community. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so memorable, and a special thanks to Chamber member The Balloon Parlor for the beautiful Valentine’s décor. Moments like these remind us just how supportive and inspiring our community of women truly is.
