Recording of May 4, Fentanyl Awareness Event

Dear Family, Friends, Colleagues, and Community Members,

Our son Colin was killed by fentanyl poisoning on August 29, 2022. After his death, we started a foundation in his name to do everything in our power to stop this from happening to any other young person and their family.

On May 4, 2022, we had our first fentanyl awareness event with over 400 people, including many local high school students, in attendance. Our goal was to raise awareness about this deadly epidemic and get the conversation going, with young adults playing a critical role in spreading the message with their friends.

We are partnering with Song For Charlie and One Life Counseling to reach as many young people as possible. Through generous donations to Colin's foundation, we have given $50,000 to each organization and all future donations will be split between the two non-profits.

.

Please ask your teens to take the pledge to not take pills or powders sold on social media and to ask for help when they are struggling. Then, please help spread the word about the danger of illicit fentanyl and donate what you can to help save lives.

Nothing can bring Colin back, but his legacy will live on with this important work. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
