Commemorating the
Whitinsville Armenian Community
Project SAVE Armenian Photograph Archives is proud to support The Armenians of Whitinsville Project, in partnership with Soorp Asdvadzadzin Church, to document the Whitinsville Armenian community.

The project is based on the tradition of the memory books written about the villages in Historic Armenia where our ancestors were born. Today, this living memorial intends to explore, document and celebrate the Whitinsville community through time.

The Armenians of Whitinsville Project is interested in photographs of the community currently living in Whitinsville and those who have lived and worked there in the past.

A website dedicated to the Whitinsville Armenian community will showcase the collected photographs, recipes, letters, and stories. The aim is to bring people together over these treasures, discuss them, label them, and scan them to be available for future generations.

Participants can contribute their original photographs to Project SAVE Archives, which will add these original photographs to their archives for use by researchers and the general public.

If your family passed through Whitinsville 100 years ago or lives there still today, and you are interested in participating either by volunteering or contributing photographs, recipes, letters and other documents, stories, music and/or film or video, please email [email protected] for more information.
