Chef John Hogan to cook with us!

Join us on Thursday, February 5th at Prairie Grass Cafe for a collaboration dinner with Chef Sarah, Chef George, and special guest Chef John Hogan.


This 4-course family-style dinner will feature dishes highlighting the skill and history of all three chefs' careers. There is over a century of cooking experience between them, hopefully they can come up with something delicious (😂).


The reception begins at 5:30pm, and dinner will be served at 6pm.

The cost of the dinner is $135 per person (not including tax or gratuity) with the option to add a wine flight paired to the dinner by Prairie Grass Cafe’s Sommelier Pierre Lasserre for $54 (not including tax or gratuity).

John Hogan began his career in 1979 learning the craft of French cuisine in some of Chicago's finest restaurants. In 1987 he was contacted by Chef Jean Joho from the four-star restaurant, Everest. From Everest to Kiki's Bistro, Park Avenue, Savarin (Top 10 Chefs in Chicago, America's Top 50 restaurants) then Keefer's and lastly River Roast where he hosted Blues & Brews Brunch. In 2018 he was inducted into the Chicago Hall of Fame as Chef of the Year. Today, John is working on several projects while being a guest chef in many kitchens. John's passion for food, music and the blues is alive and well today!
