Join us for a night of discussion with an unforgettable panel representing the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry. This panel will discuss the next stage of completing a project. Last year we ‘Got the Deal’ with our panel of developers. In this follow up conversation we will delve into the initial phases of a projects design, pre-construction and teaming efforts as we make our way to construction.

Christina Lambert serves as a city commissioner for the City of W est Palm Beach and is the current Commission President. A natural problem solver, Christina brings energy and innovative ideas to address local needs.
Christina is a Productivity Strategist where she works with
local CEOs and business professionals on improving their
corporate businesses practices, including implementing better
organizational policies, increasing efficiencies and
streamlining internal procedures.

Christina’s background in bridging government and the local community through public-private partnerships has helped her make a positive impact in the lives of the families and
communities she has been a part of.

Christina has been a member of numerous community organizations such as
Leadership Florida, Leadership PBC, Economic Council of Palm Beach, Business
Development Board, Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, Forum Club,
Economic Forum, SunFest, Nonprofits First, 211 Crisis Line of the Palm Beaches &

Vice President, Managing Principal
As Vice President and Managing Principal of the Miami office, Eduardo Egea leads design for LEO A DALY’s work across market sectors in Florida, the Caribbean and South and Central America. He assists clients by improving their business performance through architectural and interior design. 

Eduardo facilitates a collaborative and iterative design process using simulation and prototyping methods to research and tests effectiveness of promising design solutions that may impact patient safety in high stress healthcare environments. He has focused his 25-year career on delivering multidisciplinary approaches to improving patient safety in healthcare through the development of tools and built environment solutions. He has directed more than 7 million square feet of design projects, which include major projects such as CPMC’s new Van Ness Campus in San Francisco, Woodwinds Health Campus in Woodbury, Minnesota with the The Hammes Group and Banmedica’s Clinica Santa Maria in Santiago, Chile. 

Eduardo graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Architecture degree in health facility design from Clemson University. He is a registered architect in Florida and Puerto Rico, a member of the AIA and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. 

Sr. Vice President of Operations/COO
Zach’s role as Sr. V.P. of Operations is to assure consistency and continuity of process across KASTs operating platform. Zach serves as a member of KASTs executive committee and leads KASTs operations committee which has the responsibility of assuring organizational clarity across all KAST jobsite teams. Zach works closely with KASTs preconstruction team to provide operational planning on all of KASTs new projects and remains involved with all of KASTs jobsites during the construction phase to provide support and guidance to assure successful completion and on time delivery. Zach champions KASTs internal training and development program which requires that every KAST employee receives a minimum of 40 hours of training per year. Zach received his degree in finance from Florida State University and is a State Licensed General Contractor (CGC1518299) and LEED Accredited professional.

Erick Gonzalez, PE, LEED AP
Principal and Regional Director
Mr. Gonzalez is a Principal and the Regional Director for TLC Engineering Solutions South Florida Operations. He joined TLC in 2011 and, under his leadership, the South Florida Operations Unit was created including the Deerfield Beach Office and Miami Office with a team of more than 30 engineers. He has 24 years of experience in South Florida and is actively involved in the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Association of Cuban Engineers (ACE). He has been a speaker for the ACE Mentorship Program in Miami-Dade and is constantly looking for opportunities to mentor young engineers through internships at TLC South Florida. He is passionate for engineering and always finds his way to get involved in challenging projects including Brickell City Center, Kimpton Hotel in Cayman Islands and the redevelopment of the Miami Design District. Mr. Gonzalez is a LEED Accredited Professional and graduated from the University of Havana. He has a Master of Science in Engineering Construction Management at Florida International University. He enjoys free diving, fishing and to spend time in the keys with his wife and three daughters.  

Principal and Structural Engineer
Jose Vazquez is a licensed Florida Engineer who obtained his Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Miami and his Master’s in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. He brings more than 38 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry as a Civil/Structural Engineer, Engineering Group Supervisor, Project Manager and General Contractor. Jose’s expertise includes structural engineering, forensic engineering and construction management. He is skilled at performing structural field inspections and condition assessments for projects in both the public and private sectors.
As Principal for the Fort Lauderdale branch office of Master Consulting Engineers, a 24-employee structural engineering firm, Jose is responsible for the firm’s South Florida Operations. In his capacity as a Senior Structural Engineer, he is an excellent communicator committed to delivering quality services and is responsible for the office supervision, planning and coordination of structural engineering, threshold inspections and forensic engineering services.

Michael Schwartz, PE
Vice President
As a senior project manager with more than 23 years of experience, Michael Schwartz, P.E., is responsible for the design, regulatory agency permitting, and management of a wide variety of land development projects.

He has significant experience in preliminary planning, master planning, infrastructure planning, and regulatory agency permitting for educational and healthcare campuses, including expansions and new facilities, throughout the State of Florida. Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Florida and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Florida Engineering Society (FES).
