What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Own your story. It's hard to do, but it's not nearly as hard as spending your life running from it. Being vulnerable enough to own your story is a risk, but it's not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love, belonging, and joy. -Advice from Brene Brown in Dare to Lead.
What qualities do you look for in a leader?
n leadership, I look for a person who sees the potential in others and commits to making the investment required to get them there.
If you could only eat one item of food for the rest of your life, what would you eat?
Tortilla chips from Enrique's at the airport in Ponca City and white queso.
Favorite thing about Enid?
I am in love with Leonardo's Children's Museum. I love that we have such an incredible place where kids can interact in a hands on way with STEAM subjects. It's top notch, and it's right here in Enid.
