RUN, HIDE, FIGHT
Those were the words tweeted by officials at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte last night as calls about an on-campus shooting came in. Reports say a man walked into an anthropology and philosophy class while teams of students were making their final, year-end presentations. Two people were killed and four others were injured. Three of those victims are in critical condition. Final exams have been canceled at the university through Sunday -- but graduation ceremonies are still slated to go on as planned. There's word now that the alleged shooter was a UNCC student who dropped out this semester. Read on.

COLLEGE BRIBES LATEST
A California couple has pleaded guilty in the nationwide college admissions scandal. Bruce and Davina Isackson appeared in Boston federal court this morning on conspiracy charges for allegedly handing over $600,000 to bribe their daughter's way into college. More than a dozen parents, including actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin, have been charged in the cheating scandal. Other parents -- who've signed plea agreements -- are reportedly due back in court sometime this month. Federal prosecutors say the Isacksons made bribe payments to Rick Singer to get both of their daughters into college and had inquired about doing the same for their son. Read on.

The Billboard Music Awards -- tonight. This is a show that gets bigger and better every year. Who's hosting? Kelly Clarkson. Who's performing? T Swift, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Jonas Brothers, Dan + Shay, Paula Abdul -- among many others! Who's presenting? Jennifer Hudson, Florida Georgia Lines, Ralph Macchio (?). Who's nominated?

TWIN TALK
J Lo released a new video yesterday — this one, a 10-minute vlog called “Twin Talk.” The star sits down with her 11-year-old twins Max and Emme for an adorable, fun Q&A with the star. The duo pepper their mom with insightful questions including “What’s the most trouble you got into when you were my age?” “Who’s the favorite?” And, "Did you think math was useless?" PUT ON A HAPPY FACE?
Not so much. Burger King is taking aim at McDonald’s Happy Meal saying, “No one is ‘Happy’ all the time.” The fast-food giant is launching “Real Meals” -- that will allow customers to order Whopper-based meal boxes based on a variety of different moods — including the "Pissed," "Blue," "Salty," "YAAAS" (slang for yes), and the "DGAF" meal, which is an acronym that means, “Don’t give a f——.” Hmmmm. The campaign, which is part of a partnership with Mental Health America timed to Mental Health Awareness Month — kicking off today — encourages people to “be and feel their way.”
