September 2019
September brings the highest monthly number of claims of misconduct by students at colleges and universities. Allegations of student misconduct can have profound effects upon the students involved and their families. Particularly damaging are allegations of gender related or sexual misconduct, known as Title IX claims. Our Higher Education team has a unique set of experiences, backgrounds, and skills to expertly assist students involved in these matters, whether they are victims of inappropriate conduct by others or accused of misconduct themselves. We have handled a great many higher education matters, including Title IX claims, as well as issues involving academic integrity and academic progress, and we can provide the expertise necessary to assist students and their families. Any student who is involved in a Title IX claim or other student conduct issue should have the benefit of good counsel. The issues are critical and the stakes are so very high for students and families.
