Greetings!

As we get ready to start the upcoming school year in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, many are wondering what the upcoming season will look like. CCS would like to provide you with some updates on the status of the 2020-2021 season.

Many universities and their recreational facilities have decided on most of their club sport plans for the fall semester, but some plans remain fluid as the situation progresses. Knowing there is still some uncertainly, we want understand as much as we can right now about your current situation. If you haven't already, please let us know how your university's are planning student return by taking the survey.
COVID-19 Resources
The health and wellness of our members and communities is our priority during these unprecedented times. We have added a COVID-19 Resources page which will be constantly updated as the situation evolves and we learn more about how universities will be operating. Results from the survey will also be used to guide further developments.

As more student athletes return to campus, CCS continues to encourage clubs and members to follow your state, federal, CDC, and university guidelines when participating in club activities. If your institution is shutting down facilities or limiting access, it is imperative that you adhere to those restrictions while assessing your options for club operations.

More guidelines and recommendations can be found on the resource page, including policies published by USA Swimming and U.S. Masters Swimming. CCS will be encouraging all clubs to follow the guidelines set forth by those institutions. If you have any questions related to club operations during this difficult time, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Advisory Board representatives.
Club Registration
Although swimming may not be the priority for most right now, many of you are eager to get back in the water and engage with your club. The focus at CCS during this pandemic is to continue to support you any way we can.

For the 20-21 season, club registration dues have been reduced 30% for each club tier.

1 to 20 registered CCS swimmers = $175
21 to 50 registered CCS swimmers = $350
51+ registered CCS swimmers = $525

Club registration is open and can be completed at any point during the season on the club roster page. Don't forget, member registration cannot be completed until the club has registered.
Events & Regionals 2020
During its virtual meeting on August 3, 2020 the CCS Advisory Board decided no sanctioning of in-person pool events through September 30. This will continuously be evaluated further as we approach that date as well as determine if any accommodations will be made to ensure a fair qualifying process for all participants.

The COVID-19 Resources page will continue to be updated with information as available.

All 2020 Regional Championships have been cancelled for the fall semester.

The 2021 National Championship is still carrying on as scheduled, however there may be changes in the qualification process due to the unique situation.
