Hello
CDN Update

What an autumn we’ve had so far! We honoured the talent, skills and achievements of colleges, their staff and learners at the College Awards on 25 October. Then on 1 November we saw the launch of a brand new national TV advertising campaign, #ChooseCollege . Led by the CDN Marketing and Communications Network, this project is a collaboration between colleges right across Scotland.

Since September we’ve welcomed 826 college colleagues and stakeholders to 20 CDN Network meetings, events and other CPD activities – and there’s a good deal more to come before Christmas, including the Healthy Colleges Summit and a national conference for language teaching in colleges.

College Expo19 is open for business with our open call for session submissions – and we’d love to hear from you if you have an idea for a session, the application process is quick and easy. I’m also delighted to announce that the newly updated Teaching in Colleges Today (TiCT) is now available. This online course is a great CPD resource for college lecturers, especially new in post staff.

Please, as ever, don’t hesitate to contact me if you wish to discuss any aspect of our work: [email protected]
