Happy College GO Week!

All Indiana public and most private school applications (excluding Notre Dame) are FREE this week only. The fee waiver is good Monday, September 21st through Friday, September 25th. I STRONGLY encourage students to submit by the time they leave school on Friday so they can enjoy Homecoming weekend.

Reminders about applications: 

✔ You do NOT need to wait for your teacher letters of rec to apply.

Teachers have until the end of fall break to submit. All supporting documents for applications are due to the university by November 1. Unless your school uses rolling admissions, they will NOT read your application until November 2, so do NOT wait on letters of recommendation.

✔ You do NOT need to wait for updated test scores to apply.

If you are retaking your SAT at Chatard on Oct 2nd, you will get your scores back on 

October 22nd. You can then update your scores either by sending them directly from the Collegeboard or through each school’s application portal.

Here is where the fee waivers are located on each of the three most popular schools our seniors are applying to. All schools are similar. If you don’t see yours below, look for your school’s Fee Waiver question in the Common App.

Indiana University

Under the IU Schools Specific Questions

Purdue University

College GO Week Schedule!

• MONDAY: Free applications open up.
• TUESDAY: Application Help Night 6:00-8:00 PM in Cafeteria. Bring your iPad and get those apps done!
• THURSDAY: Application Workshop duing FLEX period.
• FRIDAY: Walk-in help before school, 7:45-8:30 AM, in Ms. Kassenbrock's room 210. Free applications end on Friday.
