Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York,
and Trinity High School have partnered to offer Trinity students guaranteed admission in recognition of Trinity's academically rigorous college-preparatory curriculum that exceeds the minimum core requirements of a high school education, as well as the high placement of Trinity's graduates. Founded in 1946, Le Moyne is the youngest of the renowned Jesuit colleges and universities in North America.
Le Moyne will guarantee admission and a four-year renewable scholarship to graduates of Trinity who enroll at the college.
To qualify, the student must have taken four years of English, math, science, and history, and three years of a foreign language. Students must also have a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.00 scale). Students who meet these criteria will receive, at minimum, a $19,000 merit award per year, with a total value of $76,000. Additional aid is available through FAFSA.
Le Moyne will waive the application fee and work to set-up the mandatory application interview. Le Moyne offers some specific programs that require students to go through a separate application process (Direct-Entry Physician Assistant pathway, Direct-Entry Occupational Therapy, Dual Degree Partnership in Nursing with Saint Joseph's College of Nursing, and Degree-in-Three Nursing Program with Pomeroy College of Nursing at Crouse Hospital).
