The Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at Georgia Tech invites both prospective and admitted students to participate in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts' Annual Shadow Day Event on Friday February 14th and Friday, April 11th, 2025.


Your students can join for an inside look into their chosen major and life as a Liberal Arts student at Georgia Tech.


At this exclusive event, students can:

  • Learn more about our Atlanta campus through campus tours and housing and dining tours.

American Pest Control Scholarship

Established in 2016, the American Pest Control Scholarship reflects the company's core values by recognizing the importance of education and community support. Founded in 1971, American Pest Control has proudly served the community for over 50 years, earning its reputation as a trusted leader in pest management through a steadfast commitment to honesty, integrity, and professionalism.


The number of scholarships will be determined by the funds available and the scholarship committee. Each American Pest Control location will have one or more applicants chosen from the communities they serve. Applicants will be firmly held to the grade point average criteria and deadline. If selected, proof of full-time enrollment in a secondary learning institution will be required.

Schoolhouse.world is a non-profit started by Sal Khan, the founder of Khan Academy, that provides free peer tutoring over Zoom. Program Calendar

  • SAT Bootcamps: 4-week programs in the month leading up to each official SAT date. Run by certified peer tutors who scored 700+. Average score improvement: 40-55 points. 
  • College Admissions Workshops: 2-4 week programs designed to support students throughout the college admissions process. Run by incoming and current college students. 
  • Math Learning Labs: 3-4 week programs focused on one specific math topic from Algebra 2 or Pre-Calculus. Programs follow the Khan Academy curriculum. 
  • Homework Help: Organized by subject where students can attend small-group sessions via Zoom or get 1:1 homework help via text.

Miss HBCU Teen Scholarship Program

The Miss HBCU Teen Pageant provides scholarships, resources, and support to high school girls of color attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities to ensure that they are empowered, excel during their college years, and advance successfully into their careers.


The Miss HBCU Teen program is comprised of an 17 week developmental program that focuses on enriching and evolving high school girls into confident leaders for tomorrow’s future. Our program concludes with a 3 day pageant filled filled with friendly competition, networking and scholarship awards.


Eligibility

  • Must be at least 16 years of age and no older than 19 years of age by August 2024 &
  • Must be at at least 14 years of age and no older than 17 of age by August 2024 for the Jr. division.
  • Must be a SENIOR currently enrolled as a full-time high school student in the United States or
  • Must be a FRESHMAN, SOPHMORE, or JUNIOR currently enrolled as a full-time high school student for the Jr. division.

Georgia Tech Pre-College Summer 2025 Program

Open to rising juniors and seniors in high school, the College of Design will offer two sessions of its Pre-College Summer program. Programs include Architecture, Industrial Design, Music Technology and Building Construction. Students get to experience living on campus for two weeks and gain insight into what it means to study at Georgia Tech.


Session 1: June 15 to June 27

Session 2: July 6 to July 18

2025 Blake Hadden Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship, which will help a local area high school senior with assistance in obtaining a quality college or university education, was established to honor and remember a remarkable young man, Blake Hadden. For the requirements, instructions, and application, please clink on the link below.

The deadline for submission is March 31, 2025.


Scholarship Eligibility

A candidate for the Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

1.    Have a high school grade point average of no less than 3.0.

2.    Have been a member of a high school golf team in the CSRA for at least one season. (Public and private schools that are within the CSRA). 

3.    Be accepted and plan to attend a four (4) year college or university.

4.    Must not be the recipient of a full athletic or academic scholarship. All financial aid from any source must be disclosed.

Preview Day is an open-house style event that allows you to get familiar with a campus, faculty, staff, and current students. Most Preview Days are offered on Saturdays, so they are a very convenient way to get to know a campus and the community.  Preview days will be listed on our site as I receive information.
