ACT UPDATES


The June ACT has been cancelled at all Maryland testing centers. Registered students will receive a refund or they can log on to their ACT account and reschedule for the July test at no cost.
 SATUpdates       
SAT UPDATES

  • Students in the high school class of 2020 or 2021 who don't have an SAT score: You can register now for any 2020 SAT administration, including August, September, and October test dates.
  • Any student who registered to take the June SAT or SAT Subject Test and didn't cancel their registration: You can also register now for any 2020 SAT or SAT Subject Test administration.
  • All other students: You can register now only for the November and December SAT or SAT Subject Test administrations. Beginning at approximately 8pm on June 3rd, you will be able to register for any 2020 test administration.

DUE DATE:  Varies
AMOUNT:  Varies
ELIGIBILITY:  Must be between ages of 13-25. Citizenship eligibility varies for each scholarship. Must complete 3 easy steps: 1) sign up for campaign, 2) complete campaign, 3) upload picture to show you completed the campaign.

NAME:  Digital Privacy Scholarship 
DUE DATE:  6/30/2020
AMOUNT:  $1000
ELIGIBILITY: Be  a high school student. Must be U.S. Citizen or permanent resident. Must submit a 140-character message about digital privacy (finalists will be required to write 500-1,000 word essay about digital privacy).

NAME:  Because College is Expensive Scholarship
DUE DATE: 6/30/20
AMOUNT:  $500
ELIGIBILITY:  Grades 11-12. No citizenship eligibility required. Must be planning to enroll in college within the next 24 months. One entry per person. "Like" them on Facebook for an extra entry.

1. Morgan State University is the largest historically black university (HBCU) in Maryland.

2. Morgan has over 100 clubs and organizations on campus. Some examples are: the Pre Law Club, Scuba Club, and Meals on Wheels.

3. Almost half of the classes on campus have fewer than 20 students; meaning that class sizes are generally small.

4. The most common majors at Morgan State are: Business, Education, Engineering, and Social Services.
