Dear Families and Friends,

We are beyond excited to invite you to join us for the highly anticipated Evening on Eveningside, coming up on Saturday, February 22! This event promises to be a celebration of community, support, and all the things that make Topeka Collegiate so special. We can’t wait to share this incredible evening with you!

Evening on Eveningside is not just about enjoying an unforgettable night—it’s about coming together as a community to celebrate the school we love and support its future. Every ticket you purchase, every bid you place, and every moment shared helps make a difference in the lives of our students. This event is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose.

As you know, Topeka Collegiate has always been dedicated to providing an exceptional education that helps shape the future leaders of our community. Your support plays a crucial role in helping us continue to do just that. The funds raised through this event will directly support our students, providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.

We’re proud of everything we’ve accomplished together and are incredibly excited about what the future holds. But we need YOU to help us make this night truly unforgettable. Let’s come together, have fun, and show our support for the school that means so much to all of us.

So, grab your tickets today and mark your calendar! Evening on Eveningside promises to be a night filled with laughter, joy, and a true sense of community. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and make lasting memories that will help Topeka Collegiate continue to grow and shine.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you on February 22!

Second Graders Shine in Valentine’s Day Assembly

Our small but mighty second-grade class took the stage today for a heartwarming Valentine’s Day-themed assembly filled with poetry, trivia, and storytelling. Their performance told the tale of a teacher who must think on their feet to create a fun-filled Valentine’s Day celebration after their supplies are accidentally donated to a community center.

Despite losing a day of rehearsal due to a snow day, our second-grade students stepped up with confidence and enthusiasm, delivering a fantastic performance. Their message of love, kindness, and generosity was beautifully shared, reminding us all of the true spirit of the holiday. Bravo, second grade and Mrs. Brewer!

National History Day

The middle school students are putting the finishing touches on their National History Day projects, preparing for the regional competition set for Saturday, February 22 on the Washburn University campus.

All students in Grade 6 through Grade 8 are required to present their research-based projects each year. And, if “history repeats itself,” we can look forward to Topeka Collegiate students qualifying for the National History Day event in Washington DC!

Regional Science Day

Several middle school students spent last Friday in Ozawkie at the Regional Science Day competition. As per usual, Topeka Collegiate qualified a majority for the State Science Day, to be held in Wichita in early March.

Almost every project presented received state-qualifying ratings, with fifteen students reaching the benchmark set by the judges. Those qualifying are: Ashwin N., Liam W., Zach B., Mina W., Falon B., Annaleigh B., Lilly B., Rhett L., Wyatt M., Sofia L., Lorelei G., Olive K., Kareem N., Tucker W., and Violet V.B.

Congrats on this fantastic accomplishment, and to Mr. Simons, middle school science instructor, and good luck to you all at the state competition!

Resource teachers will be available for drop-in conferences, but all other conferences required a reservation. If you missed the deadline but still need to speak with a teacher, please contact them directly to arrange another meeting time.
