Join Us for Family Move-Up Night – Tuesday, April 29!
Dear Families and Friends,
Topeka Collegiate is excited to bring back Family Move-Up Night, a special evening designed to strengthen our school community and support student success. On Tuesday, April 29, at 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM , parents will have the opportunity to meet with teachers, learn about the curriculum for the upcoming year, and gain insight into the enriching experiences their children will enjoy. Faculty will share academic expectations, highlight Beyond the Book experiences, and distribute summer enrichment materials to help students stay engaged during the break. Parents will also receive their child’s Hopes and Dreams letter, a reflection of each student's aspirations for their future.
Additionally, our Board of Trustees and Head of School will present the State of the School address, providing updates on Topeka Collegiate’s growth, achievements, and vision for the future.
Childcare will be provided during the event to ensure families can fully participate. Your involvement is essential in fostering a strong sense of belonging within our school community, and we look forward to seeing you there as we continue our shared commitment to excellence in education!
Volunteer Opportunities to Help our School
We love our school, and we know our families do too! We’re looking for volunteers to help keep our campus looking beautiful, and this is a great opportunity to spend quality time with your child while giving back. We need families to help plant and care for flowers in the two front planters at the west school doors of the Eagle Foyer. We also welcome help pulling weeds and clearing sticks around the landscaping at the main entrance. This is an ongoing opportunity to make a difference, enjoy time outdoors, and take pride in keeping our school warm and inviting. If you’re interested, just let us know, SayHello@topekacollegiate.org.
Reminder, school is in session on Friday, April 18. There is no school on Monday, April 21, for professional learning.
Sincerely,
Lyn Rantz, Ed.D. P'19, P'21
