What's In Store for December
Fresh greenery has arrived! Buy garland by the foot or roll to adorn railings, posts and doorframes. Mantelpiece and centerpiece arrangements come pre-made for easy but elegant decorating. Wreaths of fraser & noble fir, cedar, juniper & boxwood are available in a variety of sizes. Christmas crosses have become a favorite with many of our customers. Enjoy the fragrance of freshly cut greenery in and around your home this holiday season!
 
To keep wreaths, swags and garland fresh we recommend keeping them away from direct sunshine and heat sources (fireplaces and heat vents) as much as possible. Before bringing your greenery indoors spritz with preserving spray, which seals in moisture and prevents cut foliage from drying as quickly.
 



The holidays are here- time to decorate, celebrate & gather together. It's no secret how much beauty & joy plants can bring to us during this season. Visit us this month to enjoy the colors & fragrances of the plants of December, along with fun holiday décor & gifts.
 
In the last few days the greenhouse has been transformed and filled with many new plants. Seasonal favorites such as amaryllis, cyclamen, Christmas cactus, hydrangeas and paperwhites are budded and blooming among the poinsettias. Tucked throughout are festive items to inspire holiday spirit, and gifts for the gardeners on your list.
'Tis the season for gathering, and it's not too late to plant pansies and violas in containers and flower beds. Their colorful, cold-hardy blooms will be a cheerful welcome for family and friends. We still have a good selection, so come by and stock up before holiday guests arrive. We also have a variety of conifers that can be placed in pots as well as planted in the ground. These living Christmas trees are especially lovely decorated with lights in outdoor containers and can be planted in the landscape later where they'll mature to full size.
