Spring is in full swing here at Collier's, and we are overflowing with annuals and perennials- our best selection of the year! It's not too late to start planting if you haven't already, there's a long growing season ahead. Take a look below at some highlights from around the nursery and stop by soon to peruse in person.

Gift Ideas for Moms & Teachers

Mother's Day is this Sunday, and school will be out in a couple of weeks! Pop in to find charming gift options for every budget, as well as gift cards available in any amount.

Container Gardens

Vibrant potted plants will last much longer than cut flowers, and they add instant color to porches and patios.

Hothouse Hydrangeas

These can be enjoyed indoors for several weeks and then planted in the garden. They're lovely in a pot or burlap bag with a bow.

Potted Succulents

Easy to care for and pretty darn cute. Simply place in bright natural light and water well about once a week.

We have a wide variety of perennials in stock, including garden favorites and some unusual finds. We spotlight three here but there are many more to see in-store!

False Indigo (Baptisia)

A tough and virtually disease and pest free native perennial. The more sun the better for these. Lupine-like blooms in late spring and early summer attract bees and butterflies. Often slow to establish, but once mature they are long-lived and grow to 3 feet tall and wide each year.

Peonies

Paeonia lactiflora are slow to start but once established can live for decades. Plant this durable perennial in full or partial sun with well-drained soil. Classic blooms appear in spring and are one of the best for cutting. Deer resistant. Over 30 varieties in stock right now!

'Little Rockstar' Butterfly Bush

This is a truly dwarf variety that only gets 1 foot tall! Abundant flowers from late spring through summer attract pollinators, but the plant is deer and rabbit resistant. Could be used in a container garden and then transplanted to the ground next fall. Best in full or partial sun.
