Monday @ 4:30 a.m.

What a bad start to the week: a fire is blazing at the scrap yard; a shredder is on fire, and the hoses are damaged -unfortunately, burnt to a crisp. 

Monday @ 2:30 p.m.

The scrap yard mechanic calls to secure our services. After putting out the fire and dismantling the shredder, he arrives at our Davie location at 2:30pm. 

We are tasked with re-creation of 24(!!) hoses of varying types to get their essential piece of equipment back up and running.

The request is for the hoses to be ready for the machinery before close of business on the same day...and normally, this is a job that would take up to a day and half. We realize that deadline isn't fully possible, but we are up to the challenge of solving their issue as quickly as possible. 

The deadline is pushed to 9pm - same day.

Through coordination with our Florida store network, the necessary parts are secured, delivered, and staged for the assemblies, among which, 781 legacy hose must be used (and yes, we actually had it handy through our store network!). Our store manager begins the assemblies and is able to complete them all by 9:30pm. WOW!!

@ Tuesday a.m.

The next morning, at the crack of dawn, all 24(!!) hoses are provided to the customer; the hoses are placed, the machine is back up, and it's working grrrreat! The scrapyard shredder is fully back to work!
