Collington Residents,
Can you believe the pool will open for the season in a little over a month? Opening day is scheduled for May 28 at 10:00 am. The pool committee has been busy trying to get everything ready to go. Here are a few updates to pass along:
- During the off-season we had some of the pool furniture re-strapped. Please help us take care of the furniture by not letting kids place them in the splash pad features. If you see someone misusing or vandalizing the furniture, report it to a guard right away.
- The pool needed to be resurfaced this year. This work is already complete, and the pool looks great!
- Collington has partnered with Birkdale to offer a swim team for residents. The team will alternate practices between the both neighborhoods' pools. The pool will remain open during practice times. More information will be coming regarding the swim team.
Membership to the Collington Pool is limited to community residents. Neighborhood volunteers with the pool committee will be available at the clubhouse on the following dates to enter new residents in the pool pass database:
Tuesday, May 10 at 6:30 pm
Saturday, May 21 at 10 am
Thursday, May 26 at 6:30 pm
All residents who have never been entered into the pool database should plan to come on one of these dates. The pool committee will need each member of your family over the age of 6 present. Residents over the age of 18 will need to provide proof of Collington residency. A list of acceptable proof bearing a Collington address may be found at www.collingtonhoa.com/pool-information.
Membership to the pool will be suspended if a resident is not in good standing with the HOA.
