ATS extends congratulations to 74 newly appointed chief executive officers or chief academic officers at 63 ATS member schools.

Caroline Mason joins ATS as communications and email marketing coordinator


ATS welcomes Caroline Mason as communications and email marketing coordinator. Mason officially joined ATS in September and is responsible for leading the Association’s email communications, including writing and proofreading content, designing and deploying campaigns, and analyzing engagement to strengthen outreach and connection with member schools. 2026 ATS/COA board nominations now open


ATS invites presidents, academic deans, and cabinet-level administrators to participate in the 2026 nominations process for the ATS Board of Directors, the Board of Commissioners of the ATS Commission on Accrediting, and their committees. These leadership bodies guide the mission and work of ATS and the Commission, supporting theological education across diverse traditions. Whether you're eligible to make nominations or simply want to learn more, visit the 2026 Nominations webpage to explore the process, which culminates in a vote at the 2026 ATS/COA Biennial Meeting. Nominations may be made online and are due by Friday, October 17, 2025.

Persistence under pressure: what the 2024–25 GSQ reveals about student life, work, and study


On September 17, 2025, ATS Student Data Services presented findings from the 2024–25 Graduating Student Questionnaire. More than 70 attendees learned the latest broad-level trends reflecting recent graduates of ATS schools. McCormick Theological Seminary introduces Trauma-Informed Teaching online series


McCormick Theological Seminary’s new monthly webinar series, Trauma-Informed Teaching: Learning as Care and Justice, explores real practices and fresh perspectives to help educators and ministry leaders create trauma-informed, healing-centered classrooms. Part of the seminary’s Trauma Healing Initiative, this series is hosted by THI Director Stephanie M. Crumpton, who is joined each month by some of the leading voices in theological education. Designed for educators, ministry leaders, and all who are committed to creating trauma-informed, healing-centered spaces, each session offers not only inspiration but also practical tools educators can use right away. The next session takes place via Zoom on October 17 from 11 a.m. to noon CT. Registration is now open.
