Christian leadership speaker Ann Garrido to speak on redeeming conflict at April’s In Trust webinar

The In Trust Center for Theological Schools will host Redeeming Conflict One Tough Conversation at a Time, a webinar featuring noted educator and facilitator Ann Garrido. Garrido will share a framework for analyzing the ordinary tensions of institutional life and offer concrete tips to constructively trigger the needed conversations. Leadership Education announces Reflective Leadership Grants

Leadership Education at Duke Divinity plans to award upward of 30 Reflective Leadership Grants in 2025, providing Christian leaders “balcony time” to reflect on accomplishments, broaden perspectives, and discern next steps. Leadership Education welcomes applicants who serve in a range of leadership roles, from project director to senior administrator, and who are working in a variety of organizations, including denominations, seminaries, church-related colleges, consultancies, congregations, Christian nonprofits, Christian social enterprises, and others. Renowned theologian and author Willie Jennings to speak at annual Lake Institute lecture

The Lake Institute on Faith and Giving will present its 20th annual Thomas H. Lake Lecture on Friday, April 11, 4 p.m. ET. Join in person or online as Willie Jennings leads this year’s discussion: Remaking the Commons: Forming a Moral Imagination for Possession and Philanthropy in Place. Jennings will discuss how a faithful practice of giving might build new realities of community. This year’s lecture takes place at the Witherspoon Presbyterian Church, 3535 W. Kessler Blvd N. 2025 Grawemeyer Lecture:

Disability Wisdom, Spiritual

Subversiveness, and the Soul Work of Justice

Join guest lecturer Rabbi Julia Watts Belser on Tuesday, April 8, 5 p.m. ET, as she discusses the relationship between disability and spirituality. Belser will also receive the 2025 Grawemeyer Religion Award, jointly presented by Louisville Seminary and the University of Louisville, for her work in publicizing significant insights into the relationship between human beings and the divine. The event will be held at Louisville Seminary’s Gardencourt Rose Garden with an option for online viewing. Registration is required whether attending in-person or online.
