New numbers reported for 2019-2020 enrollment  
In terms of enrollment changes by school, about 45% have shown enrollment increases and about 55% have shown enrollment declines. The median total headcount change is down about 2%. These expected results would continue a trend that has been in place for more than a decade. Read more.

questionnaires to all member schools

Thanks to the generosity of Lilly Endowment Inc., ATS is now a supporting member of The Conversation US-an organization that works with academic researchers to produce and promote knowledge and evidence-based journalism to the public at large. Read more.  
 
Lake Institute on Faith & Giving to offer doctoral dissertation fellowship
Lake Institute on Faith & Giving at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy will offer a one year doctoral dissertation fellowship of $25,000 for the academic year 2020-2021. Read more. 
 
Chaplaincy Innovation Lab publishes article on training healthcare chaplains    
Launched at Brandeis University, the Lab is a think tank that supports research, teaching, and the provision of spiritual care in a range of settings. One of its current projects, Assessing and Reimagining Chaplaincy Education, investigates the pedagogical and theological foundations of chaplaincy education in healthcare. The project team recently published a journal article on its findings. Read more.

The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS) is a membership organization of graduate theological schools. ATS Programs and Services offers educational events and resources to assist member schools with best practices, development of peer networks, production of research, and exploration of data. The Commission on Accrediting of ATS accredits the schools and approves the degree programs.
