Today, church leaders from an array of cultural contexts around the globe can study together in unprecedented numbers. Working with an exception approved by the ATS Board of Commissioners in 2013, two veteran distance educators reflect on Abilene Christian University's online Master of Arts in Christian Ministry and offer four principles for teaching across the contexts of West Africa, Eastern Europe, and the United States. Staff transitions: 
Tisa Lewis and Nadine Banks retire  
Tisa Lewis will complete a decade of work with ATS, most of it as an accreditor, and will retire to Black Mountain, North Carolina. Nadine Banks will retire from full-time work after eight years as executive assistant to Daniel Aleshire. ATS has greatly benefitted from the contributions of both of these gifted colleagues, and we wish them all the best as they embark on their next chapters. Read more.
