Happy New Year! Just as January is part of the planning season for the farmers and ranchers we serve, it’s the time for us at CDA to begin laying the groundwork for how we will continue to enhance our service to you in the months ahead. Our ability to maintain seamless operations--and even stand up new initiatives--despite COVID-19 highlights the passion and skill of our employees. We are all eager to do more this year, and look forward to sharing updates about new and exciting work in the hopper with you soon.

January also brings events like the National Western Stock Show, the Colorado Farm Show and countless winter meetings when we typically convene to tell stories of the last season and look ahead to the next. These traditions will all look different this year, but folks are still engaging our communities with creativity and comradeship by focusing on serving others, celebrating the next generation of agriculture and adjusting in-person meetings to keep business and events moving during the pandemic.

The release of CDA’s annual Cultivating Colorado magazine is another sign of the season. Thanks to the support of our generous advertisers, thousands of readers, including students in schools across the state, will have an opportunity to learn more about the many aspects of the agriculture industry and its incredible value to Colorado.

We’re looking forward to a new year of serving you with determination, transparency and advocacy. Thanks for continuing to move forward with CDA, and thank you for supporting Colorado agriculture.
