Harvest time is one of the best times of year in Colorado. It's another opportunity to connect agriculture to our state's greater population through a variety of fall agritourism activities , from corn mazes and pumpkin patches to distillery and winery tours.

At CDA, our Brand Division's 60+ brand inspectors are gearing up for the fall run, which will see hundreds of thousands of cattle on the move to market. Inspectors looked at 346,054 head in July, and that number will increase exponentially in the fall months.

Our Conservation Services staff is exploring ways to advance our state's soil health and working with farmers, ranchers and other stakeholders to ensure these efforts will truly serve Colorado agriculture.

And our Colorado Proud team is gearing up for our Next Generation of Ag Symposium later this month, which will bring industry experts together to discuss how the economy, environment, technology and culture relate to local agriculture.

Thanks to the 300 skilled employees and our Ag Commission for all the work they do on behalf of our state's ag industry and for the people of Colorado, and thanks to you for supporting Colorado agriculture.
