Early Childhood Program Owners, Directors, and Administrators,

Joint Initiatives/Foundations is excited to announce that applications open JULY 1st for the new Colorado Shines Quality Improvement (CSQI) Grant funding available to all early childhood programs. Funds are limited, so now is the time to ensure your program is ready to apply.

To help programs prepare, Joint Initiatives is offering a CSQI Grant Workshop Session on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, July 9 | 5–7:30 pm @ East Library Meeting Room F1 (5550 N. Union Blvd.)
  • Tuesday, July 23 | 5–7 pm @ Ruth Holley Library Meeting Room (685 N. Murray Blvd.)

The workshops can help make sure your QRIS portal is up to date with all of the information needed to apply for the CSQI grant. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop.

As a reminder, CSQI funds provide for 10 hours of coaching as well as quality improvement dollars to be used toward additional coaching hours, classroom furniture, learning materials, curriculum, or professional development.

For more details and to register for the workshop, click on the registration button below.

If you are not able to attend the workshop, but would like to apply for the CSQI grant, please contact Ashley Pomales for assistance beginning July 8th. (Please note JI offices will be closed for the 4th of July holiday.)
