The Springfield Ballet Company proudly presents its 44th annual production of The Nutcracker.

The Nutcracker is a timeless holiday classic that follows Clara and her Nutcracker from a lavish Christmas party to a fierce battle with the evil Mouse King, then to a magical journey through the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. The production features a cast of more than 120, including our Company dancers, local adult actors, young dancers from the community and professional guest artists.

Did you know!?
The Springfield Ballet Company is going on tour! We have been hired by the Danville Symphony Orchestra to perform The Nutcracker on December 2, 2018, at the Dick Van Dyke Auditorium in Danville, IL. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Springfield Ballet Company dancers have had a busy month of promoting The Nutcracker!

We performed at Fun Frosty Friday at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library on Friday, November 23. We performed at Memorial's Festival of Trees on Saturday, November 24. And, we hosted a Nutcracker story time at Barnes & Noble Bookstore on Sunday, November 25.

Coloring Contest Winners!

Springfield Ballet Company hosted a Nutcracker coloring contest to promote our upcoming production of The Nutcracker !

We were so impressed by the creativity and designs from our young participants. Congratulations to everyone involved!

We wish we could have chosen every entry, but we had to narrow it down to three winners per category. Here are the winning images!
