Sports Recap
Our varsity girls golf team, led by head coach Maggie Freytag, placed top-20 in the country at last week's 2023 Professional Golfers Association of America National Invitational in Frisco, Texas. The team received an invite to compete in this national tournament after capturing the Division II State Championship last fall. Competing for the Vikings were recent graduates Eva Baker '23 and Eliza Freytag '23, along with returning team members Sydney Fortney, Angela Hu and Caroline Zeiger. The Vikings will enjoy the rest of the summer off from competition before opening the season at the Central Buckeye League Preseason Tournament on August 9 at Mentel Memorial Golf Course in Galloway.
