COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus City Council will hold two special meetings to interview the finalists for the District 7 Council seat vacancy. These meetings are scheduled for Monday, January 13, and Wednesday, January 15, both at 1 p.m.
During these meetings, Council will enter into executive session to conduct the interviews. No vote on the vacancy will take place during these sessions. Council anticipates making an appointment in the coming weeks.
"After a robust conversation during our last meeting, Council is more committed than ever to selecting the most qualified candidate from the diverse pool of 10 candidates we’ve selected," said Council President Shannon G. Hardin.
