Summer Reading Beanstack Challenge
June 1st - August 31st
Welcome to The LOSC Summer Reading Program 2025: Level Up at your Library!
For every 5 hours of reading, you earn a ticket; up to 4 tickets can be earned for reading (20 hours of reading total). Complete four activities for a bonus ticket. Once you earn a ticket choose which Grand Prize you would like a chance to win!

Join us for this month's take-n-make: Layered Sunflower. These kits are available for all patrons but have a Pre-K - 3rd focus. Pick up a kit at your local library while supplies last!

Think you’re quick with jigsaw puzzles? Put your skills to the test in our fast-paced Speed Puzzle Racing! Join us for a fun and friendly competition where teams race against the clock to complete a puzzle. Sign up at your branch, spots are limited to the first 20.

Lakeside Library Exploring with a Ranger: Rivers
Tuesday, August 12th, 3:30pm
Join us every second Tuesday at the Lakeside branch for Exploring with a Ranger. This month, an interpretive ranger will read a story and talk about rivers before creating a river model in an aluminum pan. This program is designed for kids ages 5 to 10.
Recognizing Online Scams
Around 7000 people are scammed online every day in our country. What scammers don't want is for you to be informed about their tactics. Come to your local library and learn to recognize and protect yourself from internet and text scams.
