Kodiak is gearing up for hundreds of visitors for the annual ComFish Alaska Trade Show and Fisheries Forums. In its 44th year, ComFish is the largest and longest-running fisheries trade show in Alaska. This year ComFish will be at Kodiak High School with options to view the Forum virtually. Pre-register today and be entered to win!
ComFish provides a unique opportunity for people to bring their goods and services directly to where people in the fishing industry live and work. It is also a one-stop shop for stakeholders to get the latest information about the seafood industry issues. Over the years, ComFish has expanded to include several new community events beyond the educational forums and trade show. This year will consist of a Rockfish Taco Feed at the Brewery on the 15th, an evening reception, a shark dissection, and the Fisherman’s competition.
We have a great lineup of Exhibitors for ComFish 2023. Take a look at our Exhibitor Show Page to see who will be exhibiting! The ComFish trade show runs Thursday, March 16, through Saturday, March 18 in the gym at Kodiak High School from 10 AM-4 PM. Fifty-two exhibitors from as far away as Michigan will be showcasing their goods and services this year.
All fishery forums are scheduled in the Choral Pod at Kodiak High School this year. The lineup includes discussions on seafood marketing, what insurance you need to have, Navigating the NPFMC and AK Board of Fish, the future of mariculture in Alaska, updates from ADF&G Commissioner Vincent Lang, State and Federal updates, and much more.
