Are You Coming to the Big Party?

Have you ever planned a big party or a big event for an important reason, but when it the actual time came, people seemed apathetic or seemed to forget that they even said they would come? How did that make you feel?

Jesus told a story like that which we will be looking into this week. You won't want to miss it. His point did not fall on deaf ears, either. At least not all of them.

But the response of the host in Jesus' story may surprise you. It sure surprised the crowd that heart it.

Children's Sunday School Rotation

Ladies, We need at least 4 ladies who will sign up to be ready to teach Sunday School for Elementary and or Preschool. This will be a Rotation so no one will have to take it all of the time.  Please use the sign up sheet in the back and we will meet soon to get it organized.

We want to be prepared for who God might bring.

Have You Found a Way to Be Evangelistic Every Day?

Idea:

#1 Invite a Friend to the Jesus Revolution Movie.

#2 Have a New Neighbor? Help Us Prepare some New Neighbor Gift Bags. Stop by and Introduce yourself. Take them some cookies along with a gospel track or book, and a church invite card.

#3 Take a Church Calendar to a Neighbor, or a Business you use Regularly. Use a Smile and Offer them a 2023 Calendar. Even if they already have one, they can give it to someone else in their family or staff. Maybe this wil be an opening to tell them where you attend church and more importantly, Why.

We want to begin 2023 with a Brand New Emphasis for Personal Growth in Evangelism. We mean making evangelistic conversations, and invitations a natural way of life. It may mean learning how to lead a conversation towards God, or asking people around you how you can pray for them, or learning a method of actually sharing the gospel, handing out gospel tracts, or making it a habit to invite friends, neighbors, and new people you meet to your Sunday School class or Worship Service. Maybe meeting and inviting your New Neighbor to Church. How can You be MORE INTENTIONAL in helping people find Jesus?

We know that Evangelism is God's Will. Learn a natural way that you can do it regularly.

Make this the year that You get personally involved in Sunday Morning Bible Study. A good Sunday School class can act as a Team that will help people meet Christ and grow in their faith.

• Big Challenges to Reach our Growing Community in 2023.
• Covered Awning for Fellowship Hall, Amount Needed, $3,500.00.
• Digital LED Outdoor Sign, Amount Needed, $12,000.00.
• Church Staff for Children / Youth, Amount Needed $26,000.
• Additional Outreach Ministry Needs, $10,000.00 (We have a Brand New Subdivision with about 700 families building less than 1/2 mile away. We must be praying, and working, and providing ministry to reach the people God is sending to our doorstep.
• "100 Year Anniversary" for New Hope Community Church is set for October 1, 2023. Preparation for this big event will be approximately $3,000 - $5,000. Let's Celebrate what God has done!

Try a Brand NEW Sunday School Class This Sunday!

Bro. Roger Ratliff will be starting a Brand New Bible Study Class on Sunday Mornings. It is open to everyone. Bro. Roger is one of the best Bible teachers I know so I can highly recommend him to anyone who is not already involved in a class.

The class will begin at 9:25 AM.
