Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of the faithful...
Dear brothers and sisters,
I hope that this message finds you and your family doing well amidst the unrest that has come up in recent days. How much more real these events remind us that we truly need God in our lives; He who calls us to love one another as brothers and sisters, all made in the image and likeness of Himself. Please unite your prayers with mine and the rest of the world that we may truly strive to live in peace and love with one another, and may that peace start within ourselves, so that we can truly be a conduit to those around us.
Amidst these tragic events, I am excited to share with you that we have been hard at work to reopen the church for public worship. With that, I would like to inform everyone that public Mass will begin again this Sunday, May 31 at 9:30am.
Until further notice, here is how the Mass schedule will look like, all of which will continue to be livestreamed:
Public Mass Times where the faithful are invited to attend in the church: Sundays at 9:30am, Wednesdays at 8:00am and Fridays at 8:45am.
Non-Public Mass Times where the faithful are not invited to join in the Chapel: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:00am and First Saturdays at 9:00am and Saturdays at 5:00pm.
My apologies for the inconvenience that the schedule mentioned above might be for many of you, but due to the rigorous and time consuming work that involves cleaning and sanitizing the church after each public gathering, for the time being, this is the best we are able to offer to ensure that our staff will be able to get some rest and also allow for funerals to take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
It is IMPORTANT that you take a moment to click on the following link and read the protocols about what to expect as you prepare to come to church for Mass during this time: Protocols for Mass .
Please be patient with us during this time, as we will continuously reassess the processes and procedures to ensure that we are doing what we can to provide for the well-being of our parish. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions and I will try to respond back as soon as I am able.
Come, Holy Spirit, come! Fill the hearts of the faithful with the fire of your love!
On May 29, Archbishop Bernard Hebda discussed in an interview on Relevant Radio how we respond as Catholics to the current unrest.  Listen here .
 Ordination to the Priesthood
This morning at 10am at the Cathedral of Saint Paul, seven men will be ordained to the priesthood of Jesus Christ. Please pray for them that they may have the heart of the Shepherd, leading all God's children back to Himself through their witness and the Sacraments. Click here on how to watch it.
 Faith Formation
As we prepare to open the church up this Sunday for public Masses to resume, we will begin to start scheduling First Communion, Confirmation and RCIA dates. Stay tuned as we will be reaching out to families soon. Keep the excitement of receiving the Sacraments remain strong in your hearts.

No Drive-Thru today!
At least for today, Saturday, May 30, I will not be having Drive-Thru as I prepare to reopen the church for public worship. Please plan to come at another time.
